So the petrol heads can choose between 1.2, 1.4, 1.8 & a 2.0-litre turbo engine, but the 1.4 in MotorLoansDirect’s opinion is that it is the best in class. The price is very reasonable - so getting car financing could be an affordable option - and is powerful enough to let you enjoy the A3’s sharp handling.
The Diesel range offers a 1.6 and a 2.0-litre engine with either 148bph or gutsy 181bhp. The 1.6 emits just 99g/km of CO2, so this makes it a very attractive option as it is low company car tax option.
All the diesels are smooth and flexible, but if your budget can stretch to it we would highly recommend the lower-powered 2.0 option for its sharp power delivery. Or you could request a quote for a personal contract purchase option if the all out buying price is too steep.
