The original, first generation Chevrolet Camaro came to market in 1966 and was designed as a competing model to the Ford Mustang. Known as the original muscle car, the latest generation is still brawny, but much sleeker and sexier.
Only available in left-hand drive, this is a two-door coupé and equipped with an extremely powerful 6.2-litre V8 engine. It has a lighter build, better attack in and out of corners, more responsive braking and a noticeably more nimble performance.
It is smaller and wider with a more athletic shape. These tighter proportions enhance the aggressive body features like the fastback profile and rear quarter panels, creating a road presence that is very hard to ignore.
In the US a Chevrolet Camaro convertible is available but at the time of writing, it is unclear whether this version will be sold in the UK.
