There is a choice of two engines with the Mazda 5. You may wish to bypass the 2.0 petrol engine though as it is rather lazy and as such it takes time to build the revs. The 1.6 litre diesel may be a more popular choice. The 1.6 litre diesel is our choice as it offers strong resale values along with running costs that are lower. Another great thing about the 1.6 is that it’s also more flexible than the petrol version.
There isn't a great deal of choice for trims with the Mazda 5, there is in fact just one, the Venture trim. On the plus side it does offer just about everything you need. Equipment and technology includes remote locking, climate control, powered windows front and rear, Bluetooth support, sat-nav with touch display, parking sensors and reversing camera. There isn't anything missing from the trim really, which means the lack of choices isn't an issue.
