The Mini Coupe is one of the more stylish from the Mini range and there are four versions to choose from, but only one trim. The Mini Coupe is set apart by choice of engine, as opposed to the trim level and kit. They all offer the same equipment, including DAB radio, CD player, parking sensors, alloy wheels and air-conditioning, even the entry level version.
The entry level is the Cooper; this has 121 horses, offering plenty of pace with those horses to make the most of the fine handling. The Cooper S gives a hot hatch pace, and this in our opinion is the best choice, due to the fact that it comes with a price tag that is reasonable and the running costs are good.
The top of the range is the John Cooper Works, with even more speed, and it is available in the diesel. This is by way of the Cooper SD with its 141bhp, however, it doesn’t have the sharpness, or feel as fast as the petrol engines.
