Put the Mini Hatchback alongside other small vehicles and it looks positively expensive. There are not too many rivals out there that are as desirable, and as such you may expect strong resale values.
The hot hatch, Cooper S, is our choice as it is a great buy, while the Cooper petrol engine is equally as impressive thanks to the combination of low running costs along with strong performance. If you are on a budget then you cannot go wrong with the One, which is the entry level version.
The Mini Hatchback isn't short on extras and options; this means that you are able to tailor your vehicle to your tastes. There is also a wide range of option packs to choose from, giving you numerous extras for one discounted price.
In our opinion the Chilli or Pepper pack is worth considering, along with the Media XL. You may also wish to consider the Mini Hatchback TLC service package. A one off fee gives you peace of mind of five years or 50,000 miles of servicing. There is also the TLC XL, higher priced, but offers an additional 30,000 miles or three years of servicing.
