There are some great choices of engines for the Renault Clio and even the entry level version comes with plenty of equipment.
In our opinion the diesel engine in the form of the 1.5 litre is worth a look due to the fact that it offers a smooth drive and it has plenty of power. While the price tag is a little on the high side, providing money is no object, it may be worthwhile going for it.
An alternative choice of ours is the turbocharged 0.9 litre; however we do put this in second place.
The entry versions are packed with equipment, however, if you want the infotainment pack with the touch display you are going to have to move up to the Dynamique Media Nav trim. While it is a step up in price it may be worth it as the system is a great one and it boosts the cabin. Along with this it adds in value when the time comes to sell the vehicle on. The Renault Clio may be personalised and the combinations of trims and colours are second to none.
