A strong contender with the Audi A4 the Seat Exeo is able to deal with corners well and it feels right at home on the motorways. If you choose the standard suspension, however, prepare for bounces over crests or dips if travelling at high speed.
The Sport models have a set-up that is stiffer and overcomes the bounces, however, it has 18 inch wheels and this means that it offers up an unforgiving ride. While the Seat Exeo comes with plenty of insulation to try to stop road noise, some is heard on the motorway.
The diesel engines are not quiet and vibrations may be felt though the gearstick, the steering wheel and the pedals. If you are able to put up with this you do get lots of room in the front, along with plenty of leg and headroom.
The boot may not be the largest, however, on saying this it may be large enough for most people and the seating in the back may be split folded. Each version of the Seat Exeo has electronic braking assistance, stability control, plenty of airbags, an alarm and an immobiliser.
