The whole range of engines offered in the Skoda Superb offer plenty of power. In our opinion it is the 2.0 litre diesel engine offering 148bhp that comes out ahead. The 2 litre engine has the power to take the vehicle along at a decent pace, should you require it, and it will not cost a fortune to run.
Our choice is the manual gearbox as it is slick; however, if you are a fan of the automatic gears, they are available.
The trim levels of the Skoda Superb are well equipped, whichever you choose. We went for the SE for those buying the car privately and the SE Business for the company owners. The trim levels offer dual zone climate control along with a bigger touch screen display than what is on offer with the entry level. The higher trims include parking sensors and you may be grateful for them thanks to the sizeable body of the car.
