The Volkswagen Scirocco is going to spoil you for engine choices but it really doesn’t matter which you choose, as all are good.
Anyone looking for full out performance might want to go for the 2.0 TSI as it gives the sports coupe a punch, it’s flexible and the running costs are low. Next up is the 1.4 TSI, and this is our choice, as while it may not have the pace of the 2.0, it does have plenty of performance to ensure you will enjoy the sharp handling of the Volkswagen Scirocco.
All choices of engine have the option of the DSG auto gears, which are six-speed, apart from the 1.4 litre; this takes over from the six-speed manual fitted as standard. However, it is going to cost you a sum in four figures and to be honest we don’t think that it adds anything to the driving experience.
The resale value of the Volkswagen Scirocco is good too. At MLD we offer a range of attractive car finance solutions, including car loan, hire purchase and personal contract purchase deals, so if you fancy a Scirocco, why not use our service?
