The Volvo C70 offers all the prestige that you might expect from the company, while the vehicle isn't expensive to maintain. Running costs are a different matter though as with the turbocharged T5 you may get as little as 28mpg from it.

The same applies to the 2.4 litre, while the 2 litre offers a little more at 29mpg. If you choose the automatic gearing the figure is reduced by around 4mpg. It isn't good news in regards to insurance costs either as all the range carries premiums that are high. The entry level is in the 15 group, the 2.4 litre is in the 16 group and the T5 in the 18 group. If you go for the GT trim this incurs further costs.
