You may think that the Volvo CX70 is an SUV, however, it’s more along the lines of being a jacked up estate car. You might want to consider it as being a V70 that offers some off the road abilities, rather than being a true SUV.
The entry level version of the Volvo XC70 offers front-wheel drive instead of four-wheel drive. This means that the cladding on the front and the raised up ground clearance are more for show than anything else.
You can choose from three engines, the D4 offers 161 horses, the D5 gives 212 horse power and both are diesel engines. There isn't a great deal to choose from them as both perform very well. If you want a petrol engine there is the T6 offering 300 horses, however this guzzles the petrol.
The Volvo XC70 has a quality build and there is lot of room in the cabin, plus it comes with plenty of standard equipment, the ride can be unsettled due to the fact that the suspension is high.
All versions of the Volvo XC70 come with CD player, air-conditioning, alloys, powered door mirrors and windows and roof rails.
