Our Easy Finance Process

1. Apply Online

When you make your application through MLD, we will use a soft credit search to give us an insight to your credit profile. This gives us a clear indication as to whether we can help you obtain finance or not. If we can help, you will receive an in-principle decision. Once you get this initial acceptance, you're on the way to buying your new car!

2. Tailor your personal parameters

We want to be able to tailor your finance around your personal needs. During this initial stage we’ll complete a pre-qualification call with you. This enables you to tell us how much you want to pay, how long you want to be paying for and how much you need for your chosen (potential) vehicle. We also establish what kind of finance you require. Different people have different needs and we have a range of products offered through our lenders to suit whatever you're looking for.

3. Search for your New car!

At this stage, you will have an acceptance in place and will know how much you can spend based on your budget. With our extensive range of dealerships and personal expertise, we can help your find your perfect new car. Through our help in finding a dealer and vehicle, you can be confident that you are buying from a tried and tested source. We’ve worked with dealerships from all over the country and so we know exactly the level or service you, the customer, should receive. Or alternatively, you’re completely free to conduct your own hunt, however make sure you let us know what dealer you're using so we can check it for FCA Compliance. For your peace of mind, we can offer you quotes on more than one vehicle so that you can be positive you’ve made the right choice.

4. Select Your Car, add-ons and finalise your agreement

Once you're happy with your choice, test driven and negotiated any part exchange and or deposit, you're on the home straight. Before finalising, the dealer may also offer you products such as warranty, paint protection or gap insurance which you may like to consider. These may also want to be financed. Once you’ve arrived at a final on-the-road price, we can supply your finance documents.

5. Sign Your Finance documents.

Once pen is put to paper, you’re pretty much there. With some lenders you can even sign electronically so there's no need to even put pen to paper. You won’t sign anything unless you're completely confident with your selection. You’re free to ask us anything with regards to the process and you will be provided with sufficient information about your agreement, withdrawal rights and other post sale factors you may have concerns about.

6. Drive Away!

You're ready to drive your car off the forecourt on to, well, wherever you like! At MLD, we work with dealers who will make sure your car leaves the showroom in the best possible condition. Valeted, cleaned, protected, peace of mind! Remember, we will be with you every step of the way!
